MauMau by Bloodhound Omega

My submission for the upcomming PinUp Portfolio --> http://pinupportfolio.com/

It's a rather unusual interpretation of Bastet, I guess, but I wanted to add a cat's playfulness next to its natural grace. :D

Oh, and what would old Anubis say that of all things a cat is stretching out like that on this image of him? ;)

Marked Mature for semi-visible nipples.

Medium: Watercolours (Sky & Statue), Colour Pencils, Gel Pens, Photoshop 7
Tags: cat feline basalt Egypt statue anubis pin up papyrus mau bastet godess
Your host for tonight by Bloodhound Omega

My finished commission for Kuntos of his vampirebat, Shade. I have never drawn a vampire bat before so this was quite a fun challenge. :D

Also this piece is a red and black feast. XD I had to smuggle in sepia into the fur and blue into the cloak to make the various shades differ from each other.

Medium: WaterColours, ColorPencils
Tags: vampire bat wing shade dracula kuntos
The Stowaway by Blotch

This is the second Joker card for the Endangered Ark card deck, featuring the brown rat. ( http://www.endangeredark.com )

It is a very adaptable and intelligent animal, and as a species, thrives in proximity to man. While they likely originated in the plains of Asia, China and Mongolia, the brown rat rapidly spread throughout the rest of the world in the Middle Ages by stowing away on boats and following human migration trails. The brown rat first appeared as early as 1553 in England, and today, it is speculated there is 81 million brown rats in the UK, making it 1.3 rats per person.

Medium: acrylic & watercolour
Tags:
Human Error by Blotch

Here is one of the Joker cards for the Endangered Ark card deck. He's in your outback, eating your numbats.

Taking second place to feral house cats, the red fox is one of Australia's most problematic invasive predator. They were originally brought over in 1855 from Europe for the purpose of recreational hunting. Since then, their numbers have exploded, estimated around 7 million animals. They are responsible for the decline of many small marsupials, including the numbat. The fox is a very adaptable, elusive and prolific animal, and as such, is nearly impossible to contain or control. It continues to decimate populations of native species and there is no foreseeable solution.

Out of Position - Cover by Blotch

Here is the cover I did a few weeks ago for Kyell Gold's new novel, Out of Position! I also did the interior illustrations and some chapterhead pics. :]
You can see one of them here: http://www.furaffinity.net/full/1713066/

If you like, you can read some of the first chapters of the book on Kyell Gold's website, over yonder! http://www.kyellgold.com/oop/

It's due to be released in January at FC and will be available online from Sofawolf after that! :]

Medium: paint and more paint
Tags: fox Tiger football gold kyell
Here is the cover I did a few weeks ago for Kyell Gold's new novel, Out of Position! I also did the interior illustrations and some chapterhead pics. :]
You can see one of them here: http://www.furaffinity.net/full/1713066/

If you like, you can read some of the first chapters of the book on Kyell Gold's website, over yonder! http://www.kyellgold.com/oop/

It's due to be released in January at FC and will be available online from Sofawolf after that! :]

Bath Time! by Kittrel

Shower poof, check. Bubble bath, check. Scented soap, check.

All systems go for mousie spa day!

This drawing from my sketchbook has a story. My mouse Casper got in a fight with his cagemate and I needed to clean up his injuries so they wouldn't get infected. I found a coffee mug to be the perfect mouse-sized bathtub. It was so cute, I wanted to take a picture.... but I drew one instead. (Casper made a full recovery from his injuries and has a private mousie condo now.... he's been extra-friendly though. A little pampering makes for a nicer mouse I guess!)

Medium: colored pencil
Tags: mouse
Summer Dreams by Silent Ravyn

A summer phase arctic fox vixen sleeps softly, but her pajamas hint that she is still dreaming of snow =P The caribou plush she is sleeping with was referenced off of one of my own hehe.
Another experiment with watercolor with acrylic, I had a pretty hard time dealing with the colors though. I hope it looks ok in the end.
